Birthday time..again!

Monday, December 24th, 2007

As I mentioned last time, it is time to celebrate yet another birthday. Alok Kejriwal, Founder and CEO of Games2Win, celebrates his birthday on the 25th of December, Christmas Day. Now it’s not just sharing his birthday with the big C that makes him cool, it’s a lot of other things. For starters, Alok is what can be called a serial entrepreneur. Why? Cos apart from Games2win, he has also launched Contests2win.com, Mobile2win and Media2win….and all of this well within a decade!

Alok has varied interests such as adventure sports, music and movies. Of course, he is an avid gamer and enjoys playing console and casual games. Here at work, Alok has a hands on approach as CEO of Games2win, and plays the role of a mentor, more than a boss. He has veered the company towards tremendous success, and we know he has yet to achieve more great feats in the future to come!
Here’s wishing him a very Happy Birthday from the whole team at G2W!

Merry Christmas!

Monday, December 24th, 2007

It’s the season to be jolly and the Games2win has jumped on to the bandwagon! See, we are a jolly bunch of guys (and girls!) and once in a while we wear red. So we have much in common with this joyous festival we call Christmas, and we are spreading the cheer by introducing a special Christmas Games section on Games2win!

All of the games carry an exciting Christmas theme, and explore wide ranging mechanics and game plays. For example, collect Christmas gifts in Fat Santa, help save Christmas by freezing the bad guys in their tracks in Deep Freeze, or even jazz up your own sleigh and have a smooth ride in Pimp my Sleigh! There are more games for you to enjoy, so get into the Christmas spirit! Log on to Games2win and have a jolly good time!!!

Gaming for a cause

Friday, December 21st, 2007

Hello my human friends! It is I, the Monkey who sold his Ferrari, and traded it for a gleaming red Porsche….But enough about my material possessions, I have an important message.

I have come to hear that online gamers have started raising money for a very important cause - the Georgia chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Georgia chapter of the MS Society raises money annually for research and support purposes. However, this year’s campaign is banking on the hard fact that millions of Americans, approximately 56 million, play a game on the Internet every day.

That’s a lot of people, people! So next time you see a game that’s donating to a charitable cause, be sure to put in a few clicks!

That is all for now. Do not fret, I will be back soon. Toodle-loo. Monkey See Monkey Do.

It’s Party Time!

Friday, December 21st, 2007

One thing we know how to do (except churning out excellent games!), is to let our hair down…which is exactly what we did at the Annual Party! Free Food and Alcohol!!! I LOVE this company!!!!!

Okay so the party was a lot of fun, and people turned up wearing crazy hats, apparently there was some kind of theme or something…From what I can manage to remember, it was a pretty crazy affair!

Question: What do you get when you put gamers in a room full of bowling balls, pool tables and alcohol? Your answer: Pure Pandemonium. Not that anybody remembers, even though they say they do! Some people got really wild that night, of course they denied doing anything the very next morning! But I have photographic evidence which nobody can deny! Isn’t blackmail the best!!!

Anyway, all in all, it was a lot of fun, and I’m already looking forward to next year!
