Fantasy Cricket Tip – Team Substitutions

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

fantasy_cricket_160×150.gifAlways do the player substitutions with extra care. Here’s a tip, go with a set of “Winners”. Winners are players that you want on your team most of the times and they always earn points for you. Think of them as blue chip stocks, class is permanent whereas form is temporary!
Also, ensure that you make your substitutions before every match and that your team includes players only from the 2 countries playing in that match.
One more important thing to remember is that the substitutions made when a match is in progress will be effective only from the next match day. So make your team substitutions early to ensure you don’t lose out. You can make your substitutions about 15 minutes before the start of every match. Read more about player substitutions in the FAQs section.

Game Designer Required!

Saturday, February 16th, 2008

Enough about us! Tell us more about you! If you are an aspiring game designer and can bake really great fudge brownies, we’re interested in hearing more!

Seriously now, Games2win is looking for someone who loves playing games, and has some experience in the field. He/she must enjoy and understand how games work, and will be given the responsibility of designing games. The game designer will also supervise game creation, right from its conception to the production process.

Think you’re the person we’re looking for? Then send a mail to mihir@games2win.com. If we think you’re the person we’re looking for, we will contact you and we can get things started!

About the fudge brownies, you don’t HAVE to know how to make them, but if you did, it would be a definite bonus!

Naughty Gym Class

Naughty Gym Class is the new game from Games2win.com; the game features the classic combo mechanic which made Naughty Classroom popular.

The game is set in a Gym class, this time around your target is Coach Rodder the hunky Gym teacher. He is making his rounds around the class it is up to you to get him to change in his various avatars and turn into different schoolgirl fantasies!

The game features a search and click mechanic; you have to find the right item and then use it at the right time to activate a combo. For example, using the pliers on the floor panel makes the coach change into a carpenter and makes the girls in class very happy. I don’t want to reveal all the combos in the game in this review, so that is just one example I am giving. Time is your biggest enemy in the game and finding all the items and using them correctly can be a challenge in the time allotted to you.

The game features subtle humour and this time around will appeal to the younger audiences also.

Graphics – 87
Sound – 80
Replay – 68
Game-Play - 75
Overall – 77.5

Bottomline – It is a great follow up to Naughty Classroom but lacks replay value. But if you have not played the Naughty games this one is a must try.

Spill Fusion

Saturday, February 16th, 2008

Ola, Senors and Senoritas….I’m still breathing fire from the Spicy red Mexican chilli I had yesterday…At least that’s what they told me it was…I could have sworn it was lava…I mean I’ve never seen a toilet seat melt away like that…Anyway, I will leave my bathroom stories for the campfires, lets get on to more important news.

News is that Spill Group, which owns 30 portals around the world, is officially partnering with Double Fusion, which is a leading video game advertiser. Spill Group is the name behind popular casual gaming sites likes GamesGames.come and the newer portal, GirlsGoGames.com.

The deal is that Double Fusion will now serve exclusive advertisements to both the above mentioned portals belonging to Spill Group. Both parties are said to benefit largely from this partnership, in terms of traffic.

Big partnerships and collaborations in the gaming world will keep happening, but how often do you get to drink tequila from a sombrero! I have got to be going, see you soon. Toodle Loo. Monkey See Monkey Do.
