Language Barrier? No way, monsieur!

Sunday, January 27th, 2008

We at G2W are super cool! We have such great games on our site, so we thought, why not have our site in different languages, so that even more people can take advantage of our fabulous content! So considerate, no?

So if you want G2W in Spanish, you got it! If you want G2W in French, you got it! If you want G2W in Chinese, you got it! If you want G2W in Swahili, errr..you may have to wait on that one. Our translator in the Congo doesn’t have internet access in his jungle hut, so we have to rely on mail, which we’re still waiting for….

Anyway, if you’re one of those multi-lingual people, try out a different language on G2W for a change! Of course, gaming is a language that is universally understood!

Microsoft’s CoolHotmail campaign on Games2win

Monday, December 3rd, 2007

Microsoft CoolHotmail Ad Unit

We just successfully concluded Microsoft’s CoolHotmail campaign on our website in India.

Microsoft, the worldwide leader in software for personal and business computing, recently announced a personalised email service in India, www.coolhotmail.com which enables a user to choose a domain, from a list of 250 custom domains, that would truly reflect his personality.

The core target audience identified for this service is around the age of 15-34 years. Games2win was an automatic choice for Microsoft and their digital media agency, Media2win, since our core audience happens to be users in the same age category.

The campaign was a ROS (run of site) one, for a 30 day period and included the tall Skyscraper banner ad (160×600 pixels). The banner ad communication was an extension of Microsoft’s ‘No More Same Pinch’ traditional media theme for CoolHotmail.com, which explains why a unique identity is important to consumers today and why there’s a need to customise email services for every different consumer.

This campaign was one of the most successful campaigns run on Games2win.com.
