Spill Fusion

February 16th, 2008

Ola, Senors and Senoritas….I’m still breathing fire from the Spicy red Mexican chilli I had yesterday…At least that’s what they told me it was…I could have sworn it was lava…I mean I’ve never seen a toilet seat melt away like that…Anyway, I will leave my bathroom stories for the campfires, lets get on to more important news.

News is that Spill Group, which owns 30 portals around the world, is officially partnering with Double Fusion, which is a leading video game advertiser. Spill Group is the name behind popular casual gaming sites likes GamesGames.come and the newer portal, GirlsGoGames.com.

The deal is that Double Fusion will now serve exclusive advertisements to both the above mentioned portals belonging to Spill Group. Both parties are said to benefit largely from this partnership, in terms of traffic.

Big partnerships and collaborations in the gaming world will keep happening, but how often do you get to drink tequila from a sombrero! I have got to be going, see you soon. Toodle Loo. Monkey See Monkey Do.

Valentines, the Speedy Way!

February 16th, 2008

Valentine’s Day has just passed us, but not without giving us a serious LOVE hangover! What with all the flowers and heart shaped balloons and the chocolate (which we sent to ourselves) we were bitten by the love bug, just like the rest of them. Of course, since none of us had dates to really share this special day with (sniff) we decided to indulge in some online dating. No it’s not what you’re thinking; we’re not one of those creeps who pose as hot women in online chat rooms. What I’m talking about is our Valentine Day’s Special game, Speed Dating!

Speed Dating is a new concept for G2W, wherein players must try and get as many dates as they can by talking! This applies to guys and well as girls; we’ve got something for everyone!

So celebrate Valentine’s Day with us, Play Speed Dating NOW!

Work Vocabulary

February 16th, 2008

Actions may speak louder than words, but here at games2win, nothing speaks louder than a smattering of swear words inserted at regular intervals within a sentence. Let me demonstrate – When someone needs something to be done, first an email is sent off, for example:

“Dear X,

So and so needs to be done immediately. Please finish it asap and send me the completed document.”

Of course, such mails never work. Which is why, after a waiting period (defined depending on the urgency of work to be completed) a call is made. It goes something like this:

“Listen you #$%*#, you better get this %$#@% work done before I get there and fire your a$$!”

I have put this as mildly as I can, so you can imagine the actual extent of the profanity, which even goes on to involve people’s mothers, sisters, fathers, brothers, and sometimes even distant relatives. It is no surprise then, that work gets done at the speed of light!

Hey, we may be a fun loving bunch, but we know how to get our work done!

Fantasy Cricket Tip – Choosing Players

February 15th, 2008

fantasy_cricket_160×150.gifLook for diamonds in the dust. It is never possible to have all the super stars in your team. But sometimes you discover great players who are, shall we say undervalued at that time.

Take for example, Ishant Sharma. His performance has been nothing short of outstanding and the cost to have him play for your team isn’t all that premium. Players like that add immense value to your team. Ensure you spot that talent early for your teams.
